Custom essays: Case Information networks as “enterprise glue”: information mobilization and deployment

it is worth mentioning the fact that an enterprise architecture initiative will possibly streamline business processes, create new and introduce new and modern applications that need different level of supporting and owners – the importance of receiving positive feedback from employees. What is meant here is the fact that employees should provide the organization with positive feedback. Otherwise, the implementation of new technologies is not effective because they cannot be implemented properly or their implementation does not lead to the improvement of employees’ performance. In such a way, the company has to develop new approaches and strategies which can help employees to get satisfaction from their work and from using new technologies. The organization needs to receive positive feedback from the part of employees because the organization has to develop the healthy organizational culture, which is impossible without confidence of employees in their future in the company and their role for the successful and effective development of the company. In such a way, the EAC has to change its policies in relation to employees and introduction of new information systems. In fact, the point is to develop positive organizational culture and to receive positive feedback from the part of employees in response to the development of new policies, information technologies and information system.
Furthermore, the involvement of employees in the process of change and elaboration of the change is another essential step, which the EAC fails to undertake. The EAC introduces new information system but fails to involve employees in the elaboration of change and its introduction. In such a situation, the company faces a risk of opposition of employees to the change because employees are not involved in the change and they do not know the point of change and their role and function in the course of the implementation of the change.
Another pitfall of the EAC can be found in its new list of roles and responsibilities matrix, which is then prioritized for when the new role is taking effect and when the old role terminates (Nobel, 2010). At this point, the transition is needed to complete the change successfully. To put it more precisely, the company should provide the steady transition from the old information system to the new one. In such a way, the EAC can benefit from the introduction of new information system and technologies, if it provides the effective transition to help employees to adapt the change.
In such a situation, it is possible to elaborate some recommendations to the EAC to help the company to make its information system and information technologies more effective. First of all, employees should be involved in the change. Furthermore, managers should monitor how the change is implemented and its impact on employees. In fact, monitoring and control are of the utmost importance for the successful and effective organizational performance and the successful implementation of new information technology and information systems. Managers can monitor the implementation of new information technologies and, if any negative trends are identified, managers should respond immediately and eliminate them. In such a way, the introduction of changes can be effective due to the accurate introduction of changes in the organizational performance.
At the same time, the EAC may face a problem, while using social media, anonymous comments, emails, drop boxes, interactive sessions etc should be utilized to reach all levels of users and locations. In fact, this policy increases the risk of the impact of information that is not feedback of employees but of external users. Obviously, the development of effective information system and new information technologies and their integration in the EAC should involve employees. In such a way, the EAC can increase the effectiveness of new information technologies and develop positive organizational culture.
At the same time, one of the major problems the EAC is currently facing is the protection of its database. In actuality, the importance of protection of database and development of effective information system can hardly be underestimated because today information breaches expose modern organizations to serious risks and threats as well as their clients, who may also suffer from the loss of private information and personal data. In actuality, the company suffers from the poor protection of its database that may have disastrous effects on the development of the EAC and its information systems in a long-run perspective.
In such a context, it is obvious that the organizational information management plays an important part in the development of modern organizations. The development of modern organizations depends on the use and introduction of new information technologies and information systems. However, the introduction of new information technologies and systems raises a number of problems because organizations should implement them effectively. Otherwise, organizations will be unable to use the full potential of information technologies, which they apply.
In this respect, it is important to place emphasis on the fact that modern organizations should implement information technologies. Otherwise, they will suffer from backwardness and, therefore, they will be unable to compete with their rivals. Furthermore, new information technologies and information systems should meet needs and requirements of the organization. Information technologies should help organizations to create comfortable working conditions for employees. In this respect, organizations need to receive positive feedback from employees. In fact, positive feedback from employees will mark that new technologies are implemented successfully. Moreover, positive feedback from employees will help the organization to use the full potential of information technologies and information systems it uses.
On the other hand, organizations should remember about the protection of information and development of reliable information system. Today, the problem of information breaches and identity theft is widely-spread. Therefore, the protection of information stored within organizations is crucial for their stable development and for protection of clients from information breaches and loss of private data.
Furthermore, the communication within the organization, especially before introducing a change is crucial for the successful implementation of new information technologies and information systems. In fact, employees should understand the importance of information technologies and changes in organizations to use them effectively. At the same time, managers should control and monitor the introduction and use of new information technologies. In fact, control and monitoring of organizational performance and introduction of a change are crucial for the reliable functioning of information technologies and information systems. Finally, it is worth mentioning the fact that communication should involve all stakeholders to make changes and new information technologies a tool to reach a tremendous success rather than a cause of severe conflicts within organizations.
Thus, taking into account all above mentioned, it is important to place emphasis on the fact that the EAC as well as many other organizations face considerable problems in regard to the implementation of new information technologies. However, the effective communication within organizations and training of employees can help organizations to improve their performance through the effective implementation of new information technologies. At the same time, they should develop effective and reliable information systems to protect their data.
