Social – the social aspect of information systems and information technologies is probably one of the most influential and important because it leads to consistent changes in social relations of people. In this regard, the emergence of virtual communities is one of the manifestations of the impact of information systems and information technologies on the development of social relations and behavior of individuals. The emergence of new technologies stimulates further development of virtual communities. For instance, today, the development of social networks is a relatively new trend in the development of modern information systems and technologies, which has a significant impact on the development of the modern society.
Economic – the economic aspect of information systems and information technologies is quite controversial. On the one hand, information systems and information technologies open large opportunities for business development and stimulate the emergence of online business. On the other hand, the problem of information security persists affecting many organizations and individuals. Moreover, modern organizations have to spend substantial financial resources on the maintenance of their information systems.
Aesthetic – the aesthetic aspect affects aesthetic feelings and values of individuals. Modern information systems and information technologies contribute to the development of aesthetic values of individuals and tastes. However, the development of aesthetic feelings is very specific because they are different from traditional influences.
Juridical – the juridical aspect involves a number of legal issues, which mainly refer to the violation of the right to privacy as well as information breaches, which may lead to the violation of the intellectual privacy rights.
Ethical / Attitudinal – ethical aspects of information technologies is highly debatable because information technologies and information systems evoke a number of ethical issues.
Pistic / Faith – Information systems and information technologies stimulate the development of beliefs and views of individuals. Information systems and information technologies lead to the formation of beliefs as well as change existing beliefs and values.
Different aspects of information systems and information technologies have different impact on individuals. In this respect, I can refer to the experience of my family. My younger brother is vulnerable to the impact of information technologies for he plays video games and he often pretends to be a character, which he performed in video games. My grandfather rejects information technologies and information systems because he still beliefs that people are prior to information technologies and information systems. To put it more precisely, he beliefs that people can change technologies but they should never obey them but develop them. Finally, some of my family members use social networks abundantly. As a result, they develop new social relations and they can form new relations focusing on social networking instead of real social life. In such a way, their social relations change.
